Due to an overwhelming response, SIPS 2019 reached its capacity. If you’d still like to attend the conference, please join the waitlist. You will be asked to register whenever a spot becomes available.

There are registration discounts for SIPS members – if you are not yet a member, you will want to join first! New members who join now will have membership through the end of 2019.

NEW for 2019: Travel Funds for Pre-SIPS Elicitation Workshop
Prior to SIPS 2019, a funded workshop led by Associate Professor Fiona Fidler (U. Melbourne) will take place on July 5-6, 2019, also in Rotterdam. Participants in the workshop will receive a travel grant of $400 USD (if your home institution is in EU/UK) or $1000 USD (if your home institution is outside EU/UK) to offset costs associated with the meeting. Participants are encouraged to attend both the pre-SIPS workshop and the full SIPS meeting. Spots may fill quickly. [Update: 1/25/19 – Initial notices of award have gone out, and capacity has tentatively been reached. The following link remains open, collecting names for a waitlist.] See this form for more information and to sign up: https://goo.gl/forms/WXbMuhwFBwOAgPZJ3

Student and Postdoc Travel Fund [Now closed]
[Award notifications have gone out.] Apply here! SIPS has made a limited number of funds available for student and postdoc travel support. This fund supports defraying student and postdoc travel costs to the SIPS 2019 Annual Meeting. You should apply only if you do not have access to other travel support (e.g., from your home institution, your lab, or another grant). **However, applicants to the SIPS 2019 Pre-Conference are invited to apply to both funding mechanisms.** Awards will be made based on a lottery to applicants who meet the qualifications:
  1. You are a student or postdoc member of SIPS (i.e., you have not yet achieved a “career” level position such as faculty or administrator)
  2. You confirm that you do not have other support to attend the SIPS meeting (besides personal resources)

Applications will close February 1, 2019. Awards will be announced by mid-February.
