Call for Submissions

Call for Submissions

Past SIPS conferences have been special in large part because of the variety of sessions and diversity of perspectives that session leaders have offered. We intend to continue this great programming at SIPS 2020. Anyone – whether new to the field or highly experienced – has something to offer to the conference. We invite everyone to please consider leading a session.

To apply, please complete the submission form here. If you are interested in leading multiple sessions, merely complete the form several times, once for each submission.

For information about the different types of sessions, you can check out the instructions for session leaders from SIPS 2019 here. For inspiration, you can check out the program for the past SIPS conference in 2019 here. General information about the SIPS 2020 conference can be found here. If you have any questions about a proposed session, please contact the SIPS 2020 program committee chair, Randy McCarthy, at

Submitting a proposal for a session does not guarantee it will be accepted. There are several factors that affect whether a proposal will be accepted, such as the number and quality of submissions. You will be notified about whether your submission was accepted via email shortly after the submission deadline has passed.

We look forward to seeing you in beautiful Victoria.
