Budapest Program
Tentative Program for in-person SIPS (June 25-27)
Last update: 02/25/2025
Are you still deciding whether to come to SIPS this year?
The 2025 meeting will also be SIPS’s 10th meeting, and we will be celebrating the community and its achievements as well as reflecting on the past, present, and future of the organization. As usual, the interactive meeting will have a dynamic agenda of very brief presentations, hackathons, open discussions, workshops, social events, and more. Check out this introduction to the SIPS format if you are thinking about joining us for the first time!
Available session types are (see SIPS Guide for more on each format):
- Workshop: Guided instruction and training of a specific skill;
- Hackathon: Collaborative work on a well-defined task with a clear end goal;
- Unconference: “Free” session to pitch & discuss ideas;
- Lightning talks: A 5-minute talk can cover any topic under the broad umbrella of “improving psychological science,” such as providing feedback on a study, pitching ideas, or summarizing a recently held session, among other things. Be mindful of keeping your topic concise, as you only have 5 minutes to present.
- Roundtables (available as “unconferences” in the online format): an opportunity for any affinity group to meet to connect with one another.
General information about the SIPS 2025 conference can be found here, including a link to register for the meeting, information about other key dates, and conference funding.
If you have any questions about a proposed session, please contact the SIPS 2025 program committee chair, Ekaterina Pronizius (ekaterina.pronizius@univie.ac.at).
